Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of Chatovo websites, APIs, and applications (the "Service"). By using the Service, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy at https://chatovo.ru/privacy.

You must be at least 13 years old to use Chatovo. If you are under the age of majority in your jurisdiction, you may use the Service only with consent of a parent or legal guardian.

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity under your account.

You must provide accurate information and keep your profile data up to date.

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or pose a security risk.

You agree not to use Chatovo to harass, threaten, abuse, or harm others.

You may not upload illegal content, malware, spam, or content that infringes intellectual property or privacy rights.

You may not attempt to disrupt the Service, bypass security, scrape data at scale, or impersonate others.

You may not use the Service for unlawful gambling, financial services, or other prohibited categories under app store policies.

You retain ownership of content you submit. You grant Chatovo a non-exclusive license to host, display, and transmit your content solely to operate the Service.

We may remove content or restrict access to rooms that violate these Terms or applicable law.

Unacceptable content includes: pornography or sexualised depictions of minors; hate speech or discrimination based on race, nationality, religion, gender, orientation or disability; threats, bullying or harassment; incitement to violence or shocking depictions of it; romanticisation of self-harm, suicide or eating disorders; promotion of drugs, weapons, forged documents or other prohibited goods; real-money gambling; spam, fraud or phishing; infringement of intellectual property; disclosure of other people's personal data without consent; links to third-party app stores.

You can report a user, a message or a room from inside the app: open the participant or message menu and choose "Report". Reports can also be sent to zilero@chatovo.ru with the room, the time and a description of the violation.

Reports are handled as post-moderation. Depending on the outcome we may remove the content, restrict access to a room, temporarily suspend or permanently block the offending account.

A blocked account loses access to sign-in, rooms and voice chat. Blocks can be appealed by writing to zilero@chatovo.ru.

Voice, video, and chat in rooms are provided in real time. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability or recording features unless explicitly offered.

Private rooms with passwords are not a guarantee of absolute privacy; use discretion when sharing sensitive information.

Chatovo name, branding, and software are owned by the operator unless otherwise stated. Open-source components are subject to their respective licenses.

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND. WE DISCLAIM IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW.

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, CHATOVO AND ITS OPERATOR WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF DATA, PROFITS, OR GOODWILL ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE.

You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these Terms or if required by law.

Provisions that by nature should survive termination (including disclaimers and limitations of liability) will survive.

We may update these Terms. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated Terms. The current version is at https://chatovo.ru/terms.
